Each stocking is a mystery mix of joyful, functional, and feel-good goodies that make perfect gifts for friends, co-workers, or anyone who deserves a brighter start.

Reminder this is a surprise collection of gifts. As much as I would LOVE to show you all the amazing items I have curated, I can’t. That would spoil the surprise.

What I can tell you: 

1.           90% of the items in your box are from women and family-owned small businesses! One of our missions is to support other women. (Check out our supplier spotlight to hear more about one creator found in your box.) 

2.          I picked these items with one of my momma friends in mind. She always has a warm welcome and a big smile whether it’s been weeks since you saw her or just a few hours. She makes every day brighter.

3.          Not only does shopping small keep dollars in our local communities, we donate 10% of all sales to local charities who focus on women and children!

Hi there, I'm Karen- a San Diego-based graphic designer, plant hoarder, dog mom and moon lover. I love dancing, game nights, fictional crime TV and cold brew. AND THE MOON WILL RISE launched in 2019 with a name inspired by Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, "even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." A long time night owl, the moon is a powerful antidote to even my most chaotic days. Its rise represents an opportunity to reflect, refocus and let my creative energy flow. So, while the name is a bit unusual, it's full of meaning and heart. And that's what this small business is all about.
